Eberhard Karls University, TüBingen

The University of Tubingen was founded by Count Eberhard V in 1477. The university got its present name, Eberhard Karls University, Tubingen in 1769. It is sometimes referred to as Eberhardina Carolina. The university is known as Eberhard Karls Universitat Tubingen in German.
