Ruhr University Bochum
University of Bochum, also known as Ruhr University Bochum or RUB, was established in 1962 and is located in Bochum, Germany. The university began offering classes in 1965 and is a part of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. The university was the first to introduce the international bachelor's and master's degrees in Germany. The University of Bochum's recent enrollments are more than 33,000 students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions:

- Medicine
- Natural Sciences
The students of the university are associated with a number of clubs and organizations like AStA which is the Student Union, Student Parliament and the Film Club which is known as the SKF. CT Radio is the campus radio of the university. The university has an exhibit space for the students to display their art collections. The university also has an Arts center which offers the students with an opportunity to photograph, paint, or go on stage or sing.
