Trinity College, Dublin

Trinity College, abbreviated as TCD, was established in 1592 and is located in Dublin, Ireland. The university was founded by Queen Elizabeth I. Women got admission in the university for the first time in 1904. TCD's recent enrollments have been more than 10,000 undergraduate and 4,000 postgraduate students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions :

  • Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Science
  • Faculty of Health Sciences

The students of the university are associated with several clubs and organizations. The sports clubs is affiliated to Dublin University Central Athletic Club. The sports clubs include Dublin University Football Club, Dublin University Boat Club, Dublin University Cricket Club, among the other clubs. The students’ union of Trinity College Dublin is known as the Trinity College Dublin Students' Union. A number of publications such as the Trinity News, Trinity Student Medical Journal and Student Economic Review are issued by the students of the university.
