Université Joseph Fourier

The University in Grenoble, established in 1339, is located in Grenoble, France. The university initially had four faculties, namely, canon law, liberal arts, medicine, and civil rights. The faculty of Science was introduced by Joseph Fourier in 1811. University Grenoble 1 was named Université Joseph Fourier, after Joseph Fourier in 1987. The University in Grenoble's recent enrollments have been more than 19,000 students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following doctoral schools:

The sports team of the university is called the SUAPS. The members are associated with football, sailing, badminton, rugby, judo, climbing, diving, golf, volley-ball volley ball, and hand-ball. The university students’ association is called the EVE. The university radio is broadcast on 90.8MHz.
