University Of Alberta

The University of Alberta, abbreviated as U of A, was established in 1908, and is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The first degrees were awarded by the university in 1912. The School of Education was established by the university in 1929. U of A's recent enrollments have been more than 28, 000 undergraduate and 4,000 postgraduate students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions:

The Alberta Golden Bears and the Alberta Pandas represent the university in Canadian Interuniversity Sport. The students are associated with clubs and organizations such as Graduate Students' Association, Students' Union, squash club, badminton club, figure skating club, triathlon club, fencing club, paddling club, and many more.
