University Of Basel

The University of Basel, established in 1460, is located in Basel, Switzerland. This is the oldest university in Switzerland. The deed of foundation of the university was given by Pope Pius II in 1459. Originally the university included four faculties, namely arts, jurisprudence, medicine, and theology.
