University Of Bonn
The University of Bonn, established in 1818, is located in Bonn, Germany. The Academy of the Prince-elector of Cologne was the forerunner of the university. The academy turned into a university in 1784, when it was granted the right to give out academic degrees. Pedagogigal University Bonn and University of Bonn were merged in 1980. The University of Bonn's recent enrollments have been nearly 27,000. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions:

The university alumni include notable personalities like Paul Johann Ludwig von Heyse, a german author; Luigi Pirandello, a novelist and dramatist; Harald zur Hausen, a German virologist; and many others.
