University Of Kiel
The University of Kiel, abbreviated as CAU, was established in 1665, and is located in Kiel, Germany. The university is also known as Christian-Albrechts-Universitat zu Kiel in German. The university started as Christiana Albertina. The first botanical garden in Germany was opened by the university. CAU's recent enrollments have been more than 21,000 students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions:

The students are also associated with organizations like European Law Students' Association, Old Konigsberger fraternity Alemannia, Hunting horn group and Student Mission in Germany.
The university alumni include Christian Matthias Theodor Mommsen, a historian, jurist and archaeologist; Heinrich Boie, zoologist; Justus Olshausen, philologist; Hans Gustav Adolf Hellmann, theoretical physicist; and many others.
