University Of Reading
The University of Reading, established in 1892, is located Reading, Berkshire, in England, UK. The university originated from the Schools of Art and Science which were established in 1860 and 1870. The Royal Charter was granted in 1926. The merger between the university and Bulmershe College of Higher Education took place in 1982. The University of Reading's recent enrollments have been more than 10,000 undergraduate and 4,000 postgraduate students every year. The students are represented by Reading University Students' Union. The student newspaper is called the Spark and is published fortnightly. The students are associated with organizations like Reading University Fine Art Society, University of Reading Debate Society, and Reading University Philosophy Society.
