University Of Zurich
The University of Zurich, abbreviated as UZH, was established in 1833, and is located in Zurich, Switzerland. The university is known as Universitat Zurich in German. The university was founded when the existing colleges for medicine, law and theology merged to form the faculty of Philosophy. This was the first university in Europe that was founded by the state and not the church or monarch. The University of Zurich's recent enrollments have been more than 24,000 students. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs of study through the following academic divisions:
