About All-State Career

Established in 1982, All-State Career is a commercial driving school with campuses in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The schools offer training for careers in the transportation industry. All-State Career provides less than one-year certificate programs in Class A CDL Advanced Tractor Trailer Driving, Class A CDL Preparatory Driver Training, Class B CDL Driver Training as well in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

All-State Career Academic Programs

  • Class A CDL Advanced Tractor Trailer Driver Program - The comprehensive program offers hands-on training and classroom teaching. Students are taught advanced maneuvering and driving skills.
  • Class A CDL Preparatory Driver Training Program - Provides hands-on training in the school's practice yard and on the road. The school's primary objective is to train students to safely operate a tractor-trailer and pass the Class A CDL test.
  • Class B CDL Driver Training Program - Focuses on teaching practical skills and training on the road with a straight truck. The program's goal is for students to pass the CDL test.
  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration - The program was created for non-experienced and knowledgeable students in the fields of climate control. The program prepares students for entry-level jobs in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. The curriculum prepares students for the Environmental Protection Agency's Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Test.

Student Life

The male to female ratio is typically 9:1. The combined enrollment of the campuses is more than 1,000 students. Career Services assists graduates in finding employment. The career planning program offers assistance with interviewing techniques, resume writing and job search techniques.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Applicants are personally interviewed and must meet the requirements of the Department of Transportation. Financial aid is available.
