The All-State Career - Healthcare Division offers campus locations in Pennsylvania and Maryland. The school provides career-oriented training in expanded function dental assisting, emergency/medical technician/paramedic, medical billing and coding, pharmacy technician and medical assisting.
All-State Career - Healthcare Division Academic Programs
- Expanded Function Dental Assisting - The program's objective is to train students for entry-level positions as a dental assistant in general dentistry, a specialty practice and clinics. Topics include assisting dentists, administrative tasks, laboratory procedures, infection monitoring, inventory control and instrument sterilization.
- Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic - The curriculum offers the skills required for the crucial role of emergency medical technician/paramedic.
- Medical Assisting - Students learn to perform basic administrative tasks and various clinic procedures such as changing dressings and preparing patients for various tests.
- Medical Billing and Coding - Training is offered in submitting insurance forms, diagnostic and procedural coding, abstracting or indexing and following up on claims.
- Pharmacy Technician - Students are trained to assist pharmacists with providing medicines and other types of healthcare products to customers.
