About the School
The American Institute College of Health Professions offers comprehensive Diagnostic General Sonography and Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography programs. The hybrid programs include distant and residential learning. Hands-on training is provided in the school's lab and in a clinical facility located near the student.
Academic Programs
- Diagnostic General Sonography program - Includes training in abdominal, gynecological, obstetric and other applications. The students are trained to provide studies to doctors which enable them to diagnose health issues and provide the appropriate treatments. - Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program - Students are prepared to become a cardiac sonographer, also known as an echocardiographer. The program provides thorough training in the application of cardiac ultrasound, focusing on the heart with exposure to vascular ultrasound. The program includes an externship.
