About ATI Technical Institute

ATI Technical Institute is a career-training institution. It is part of the ATI Career Training Center collection of schools. The institute offers programs in business, healthcare, electronics, automotive repair, HVAC and welding. Practical training with industry specific equipment is emphasized.

ATI Technical Institute Academic Programs

  • Automotive Service Technician – Provides hands-on training to prepare students for entry-level jobs in general automotive or specialized service. The program includes training with the following systems: conventional and computerized electrical; fuel and ignition, computerized diagnostic as well as brake, steering and suspension. Students are prepared for the ASE Certification test.
  • Business Administration Technology – According to the school, the program prepares students for employment in corporations and general offices.
  • Dental Assisting – Students learn front-office tasks, dental laboratory procedures, radiology, CPR and other skills. Externships are part of the program.
  • Electronic Engineering Technology – Provides the training required to work in networking, digital and microprocessor, communications and hardware industries for most types of computerized applications.
  • Electronic System Technician – Skills are offered in design, integration, installation and maintenance of various electronic systems.
  • Network Administration – Prepares graduates for positions as Windows 2000/NT server, network, WAN, and system administrators and other types of IT jobs.
  • Combination Welding – Students are provided training for employment in the construction industries, oil field services, manufacturing and ship building.
  • Intensive English Language – Teaches adults whose native language is not English to be proficient in the English language.
  • Personal Fitness Trainer – Students are prepared to take the National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification test as well as the NASM-CES and the NASM-PES tests.
  • Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration – Trains enrollees for entry-level employment in commercial and residential air conditioning service and repair. Graduates are also prepared for jobs as maintenance technicians for large chilled water systems.
