About Baker College Campus
Baker College Campus was established in 1911 and was originally known as Baker Business University. In 1965 the university merged with Muskegon College and has gone on to establish a number of campuses. Currently, Baker is the largest private college in Michigan. The college's objective is to provide job specific training.
The school provides over 140 master's, bachelor's, associate and certificate programs in the fields of business, education, office administration, engineering/technology, health sciences, human services and computer information. Baker also offers online programs. The curriculums are based on advice from employer based advisory boards.
Baker College Campus Academic Programs
- Baker College Center for Graduate Studies – Offers degrees in business, information systems and occupational therapy. The courses are designed to meet the requirements of industry leaders.
- Undergraduate Programs – The curriculums prepare students for specific types of employment.
- Articulation Program – College credit is earned by successfully demonstrating skills and competencies achieved during high school or in adult education.

Faculty
Instructors are required to have a degree in their teaching field. Instructors for general education courses must have at least a Master's degree and a Doctorate degree is necessary to teach at the graduate level.
Student Life
Most of the students are Michigan residents. Usually, the female to male ratio is 7 to 3. The Baker campuses are typically commuter schools. Some of the campuses include health/fitness centers and gymnasiums. Student organizations and activities are provided at most campuses.
Admissions and Financial Aid
The college requires students provide a high school diploma or a GED. Enrollment may be done online. Due to the school's "right-to-try" admissions policy an ACT or SAT score is not required. The school recommends students who have taken the ACT or SAT test send their scores to Baker College Campus. Financial aid is provided to qualified students.
