Briarcliffe College is a career-focused school which provides bachelor's and associate degrees as well as diplomas and certificates. Educational programs are offered in Business Administration, Accounting, Graphic Design, Criminal Justice, Digital Commercial Photography, and other subjects. The college is owned by Career Education Corporation which owns other career schools across the United States and other countries. The programs available vary by campus.

Academic Programs

The college offers numerous programs. A partial list of these include:

  • Associate in Applied Science in Accounting – Accounting skills and a broad base of business knowledge is provided.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration – The program's goal is to provide focused skills in the area of management.
  • Diploma in Computer Programming – Training is offered in front and back-end programming, testing and debugging computers.
  • Associate in Science in Criminal Justice – Provides the knowledge and skills required for employment in the fields of police work, corrections and security.
  • Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Design – Courses are offered in traditional and digital design. Skills are also provided for specialized areas such as print design, web design, multimedia and animation. Theory and practice are emphasized in the classes. Students are prepared for entry-level industry positions.
  • Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology – Focused curriculums are offered in Applied Computer Programming as well as Computer Networking and Telecommunications.

Student Life

The student body consists of working adults and recent high school graduates. Most students are in-state residents. The Career Services Department arranges interviews for graduates and students who are looking for full-time and part-time work. In addition, the college includes several intercollegiate athletic teams for men and women. The college also offers student clubs and activities.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Students must have a high school diploma or a GED credential. SAT or an ACT score are not necessary for enrollment. Financial personnel assist students in creating a financial aid package.
