Admissions and Financial Aid
A high school diploma or equivalent is needed for admission into Capella's bachelor programs. The school also evaluates student progress during his/her first course to ensure sufficient capabilities in writing and logical reasoning.
The school requires those in graduate programs to have the appropriate degree from an accredited institution and a minimum grade point average. Some of Capella's programs may also require the completion of more detailed applications and/or review with a faculty committee.
Many of Capella's students receive financial assistance through their employers or various government programs, including Title IV and the Department of Defense. Many can also qualify for scholarships based on such factors as goals, experiences, and needs. Scholarships include those offered by Capella University as well as by others.
