  • Structured to ready students for careers in areas such as electronic assembly, system testing, bench technician, and related service and repairs. Studies include the building of a desktop computer. Enrollees are prepared to service and repair a wide variety of computer and electronic equipment.
  • Pharmaceutical Technician – Students are provided a solid foundation in the topic as well as essential clinical skills and basic computer skills. Students are prepared to take the PTCB certification examination.
  • Medical Assistant – Offers comprehensive training in various tasks in medical offices and clinics. Students are prepared for taking medical histories, recording vital signs, assisting a doctor during a medical examination, offering patients explanations of medical procedures and preparing patients for various examinations.
  • Paralegal Studies – Offers broad based training in the paralegal field. Students are prepared for entry-level positions in the public and private sectors of the law.

Most of the students are state residents and most are female. The Career College of Northern Nevada is regarded as a commuter campus. Applicants are required to have an interview and tour the campus. Students must provide proof of graduating from high school or a GED credential.
