About the School

The College of Business & Technology (CBT College) provides diploma and associate degree programs. The school has a strong focus on technology. The institution includes the following schools: Business, Technology, Allied Health, Modern Arts and Languages. CBT College also provides corporate training services to private companies. The college is an honoree from the 2009 Guide to Military Friendly Colleges & Universities.

Academic Programs

A selection of available programs include:

• Computer Network Administration program - Students receive hands-on training in computer labs. Students are trained in troubleshooting and maintaining computer hardware and business software applications. Students learn to administer, support and troubleshoot network systems in a Microsoft Windows environment using Microsoft and Cisco operating systems. Students are prepared to acquire an array of certifications. The program takes 24 months to complete.
• Medical assisting program - Provides thorough training in administrative and clinical tasks. Students learn to prepare patients for examinations, procedures and treatments and assist with physical examinations. Graduates can take the Certification Examination for Medical Assistants.
• Health Information Management Technology program - Trains students to identify and utilize a variety of health information technology resources and management technologies to achieve the goals of diverse health settings. Students are provided the knowledge and skill to process and maintain health information. Graduates can take the national certification examination to become a Registered Health Information Technician.
• Digital Graphic Design program - The program includes the latest in imagery technology. The program covers digital imaging, computer graphics and production. Students are trained to control the flow of advertising design in web and print media using computer graphic applications. Graduates can seek certifications such as Certified Internet Webmaster, Microsoft Certified Professional and Adobe Certified Expert.
