Cleveland Chiropractic College - Los Angeles Massage Therapy Program
About the School
Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles has been an educational leader in health care and wellness since 1911, when the Los Angeles campus was established. The school became part of the Cleveland system in 1950, when it was re-chartered as Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. The Massage Therapy Certificate program has a primary education goal of providing thorough training in order to prepare graduates for employment in the allied health fields.
Cleveland's massage program is split into two phases, for a total of 650 hours. The first phase takes just 15 weeks and allows graduates to sit for licensing examinations in most California municipalities, while completion of the entire phase takes approximately 30 weeks and qualifies graduates to sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. The program director, John Butler, D.C., has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of massage therapy and chiropractic care, and the Cleveland Chiropractic College system is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
