About Corban University & Graduate School Online

Corban University, recently known as Corban College, & Graduate School is a private Christian college offering more than 50 majors and programs of study. Located in Salem, Oregon, Corban was founded in 1935 as Western Baptist Bible College and changed its name to Corban in 1969. As a Christian institution, each major at the school has a Christian component with biblical classes as part of the curriculum. In addition to traditional campus programs, Corban offers two online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs designed for working adults. These programs are completed entirely online at any time of the day, with no travel to campus required. Corban University & Graduate School is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Academic Programs

Corban University & Graduate offers the following two MBA programs for students looking to enhance their business skills while strengthening their Christian faith:

  • Corban MBA: Management - Program integrates a biblical world view with management decisions, including classes such as Biblical Leadership & Ethics, Financial Management, and Accounting for Managers, among others.
  • Corban MBA: Non-profit Management - Program designed for students who want to lead within the non-profit sector, and is built on Christian business principles and includes classes such as Biblical Leadership & Ethics, Financial Management, and Managing the Non-Profit Organization, among others.

Learning Options

Designed for working adults, the online MBA programs at Corban are flexible and can be completed at a student's own pace. Students can begin any semester, and can take one, two, or three courses at a time. Classes are taught 100% online, with no travel required to campus.

Faculty

The faculty members at Corban University & Graduate School are degreed, highly qualified, and experienced in business. Faculty are available to assist students throughout the program.

Student Life

Students can continue working throughout the program as courses are flexible and can be completed at their own convenience. Corban has many resources and services to help students throughout the program.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Interested applicants must live a Christian lifestyle and profess their faith in Jesus Christ. In addition, applicants will have a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited institution. If a student does not have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, they must seek approval from the Dean of Business. Applicants must also have a minimum of four years of full-time professional experience.

Students of Corban's online MBA program are eligible for federal and state financial aid programs as well as Corban's own aid programs and should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial aid options include Pell grants, PLUS loans, Perkins loans, and Stafford loans, among others.
