About the School
Founded in 1973, the Keller Graduate School of Management first provided a Certificate in Business Administration that evolved into the 'Executive MBA' programs that began years later. From the start the school emphasized serving the needs of working students and their employers though an approach of teaching practical business skills.
Keller Graduate School is now an integral part of DeVry University, one of the biggest private university systems dedicated to career training in North America. Its programs have evolved to encompass over 150 courses for graduate degrees and certificates in management. The school has retained it original practitioner-oriented approach to higher education.
Academic Programs
The school's programs cover the spectrum of management topics and careers. Program areas include: in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Project Management, Human Resources, Public Administration and Technology Management
- Business Administration – Master of Business Administration degrees (MBAs) and certificates can concentrate in a broad range of areas, including: accounting, electronic commerce, finance, general management, health services, hospitality, human resources, information security, information systems, international business, marketing, network and communications, project management, public administration, security management, and more.
- Accounting and Finance – A Master's of Accounting and Financial Management offers three possible areas of emphasis: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Certificates are aimed at enhancing credentials or getting started on an MBA program and include those for accounting of financial analysis.
- Human Resources – Keller's Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) degree can be customized to specific student interests and goals. The coursework is designed to be according to the HR Curriculum Guidelines and Templates from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the biggest HR association and a leader in guidance for continuing HR education. A Human Resource Management certificate is for enhancing credentials and/or starting off an MBA program.
- Project Management – The school is a Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education provider. This module is designed to provide individuals with the opportunity to develop professional skills in project management.
- Public Administration – This track focuses on placing graduates in careers in healthcare management, government management and nonprofit management.
- Technology Management (MISM) – Covers management of communications networks and data systems. Both the Master of Information Systems (MISM) and Master of Network and Communications Management (MNCM) programs offer students theory and application across a range of concentrations. Certificate programs are available in focused areas such as e-commerce, information systems, network and communications, information security or wireless communications.
Learning Options
Degree programs can be 100% online or a mix of online and onsite studies to help students best balance their busy lives with school.

Faculty
Instructors are experienced business professionals. Each faculty member goes through an extensive training program prior to teaching in a classroom. Following each class students grade the educators.
Student Life
Students participating in the online program have the same access to services as on-campus students. Online they can receive academic advising support, help with financial aid, career services guidance and more.
Through online discussions and group projects students have ongoing student-to-instructor and student-to-student interaction. Individuals can choose to attend classes online anytime, at their own pace, on their own schedule.
The school's library provides access to resources that include text books and other periodicals. Real-time reference services offers students chat-based access to DeVry's library staff Monday through Saturday.
Keller's Career Services are available to current students and to alumni. Services include career planning meetings, resume help, interviewing, salary negotiations, identifying points of marketability for job candidates. The school also has its own job lead site, named hiredevry.com, that gives DeVry students and alumni access to what can be many hundreds of job leads.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Applicants are required to submit evidence of completion of an undergraduate degree. Prospective students are asked to participate in a personal interview with an admission representative.
Financial aid is available for students who quality. Aid may be available from Federal Stafford and Graduate PLUS loan programs. The school also offers a payment plan to help students finance their education.
