About the School

FastTrain offers career-focused diploma programs in the fields of computer technology and medical. FastTrain is a member of the Career College Association. The programs are regularly reviewed to ensure continued relevance with technology in the workplace. The programs include real world projects.

Academic Programs

Example programs available from FastTrain include:

• Medical Assistant program - Provides clinical and administrative knowledge and skills. The program includes training in medical front-office/back office tasks and diagnostic and laboratory procedures. The program also reviews pathology, various body systems, anatomy and physiology. Students are prepared to sit for the American Association of Medical Assistants sponsored CMA exam or the American Medical Technologist sponsored RMA exam.
• Medical Coding & Billing program - Designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs as a medical office administrator. The program thoroughly reviews the aspects of the insurance billing process that involve medical coding. Students are prepared to take the American Health Information Management Association certification exam Certified Coding Associate.
• Computer Technician program - Provides a substantial amount of hands-on training. The curriculum prepares students to take the CompTIA sponsored vendor neutral certification exam which certifies the competency of service technicians in the computer industry. Students learn to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade PC compatible system software and hardware.
• Network Administration Professional program - Provides students the knowledge and skills needed to take the Microsoft certification exams for MCP/MCSA and CompTIA certification exams for A+ and Network+. Students are trained to plan, install, configure and administer a Windows environment LAN/WAN.
• Management Information Systems - Provides plenty of hands-on learning. The curriculum provides training in network administration, project management and security. The program provides the technology and business skills required to manage data systems and meet business goals. Students are prepared for numerous certification exams.
