About Florida Culinary Institute

Established in 1987, Florida Culinary Institute offers a Culinary program as well as International Baking and Pastry and Culinary Management programs. The curriculums emphasize hands-on learning. The school reports that it utilizes industry-standard equipment. The Florida Culinary Institute is a part of Lincoln Educational Services, which operates a network of career schools across the US.

Florida Culinary Institute Academic Programs

  • Culinary – Offers training in a variety of cooking styles, including American, Mediterranean, Latin, French and Asian. The program blends theory with practical experience. Restaurant management skills are also included in the curriculum.
  • International Baking and Pastry – Provides a wide variety of baking and pastry theories and also includes extensive hands-on training in culinary laboratories.
  • Culinary Management – The curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and prepare students for employment in restaurants, spas, hospitals, cruise lines and also catering companies. According to the school, the South Florida hotel, restaurant and resort economy is utilized as a laboratory for the curriculum.
