About the School

Hallmark College provides degrees in the fields of aviation technology, business office administration, computer network systems technology and medical assisting. The college also offers seminar training in Microsoft Technical and Microsoft Office. The college began as a aircraft maintenance school and was originally named Hallmark Aero-Tech. In 1969 the school was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Aviation Maintenance Technician School.

The aviation campus includes more than 60,000 square feet of classroom and hangar space. The campus utilizes a Boeing jet aircraft for training purposes. The Technology campus includes a 40,000 square foot two story facility. In addition, both campuses include an extensive library.

Academic Programs

• Aviation Technology – Provides Airframe Technology and Powerplant Technician training. The school offers a simulated workplace setting. Students are trained to diagnose, repair and maintain aircraft. The program combines hands-on training with coursework. Enrollees are prepared to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P certification exam. The associate's degree program can be completed in 14 months.
• Business Office Administration – The curriculum offers insights into managing projects, preparing business documents and other related tasks. The program provides the opportunity for students to achieve certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist.
• Medical Assisting – Offers skills in medical office, clinical and laboratory procedures. Electronic medical records and computing skills are included in the curriculum.
• Computer Networking Systems Technology – The opportunity to earn numerous industry recognized certifications is incorporated into the program. The curriculum includes a comprehensive review of leading technologies from prominent vendors. In addition, students are provided with a solid foundation in computer software and hardware, security and networking.

Student Life

The student population is typically over 700 students and most are male. Hallmark College representatives provide assistance to students in locating housing and finding employment. In addition, the Student Services Coordinators provide school sponsored social events.

Admissions and Financial Aid

In order to attend the college, students must have a high school diploma or a GED credential and pass the entrance assessment. Grants and loans are available to those who qualify.
