About the School

Heisei International Institute of Massage focuses on the development of massage therapy, technology and management. The school also emphasizes cranial scar therapy and traditional elements of massage, including Hawaiian Lomi Lomi training. Heisei International Institute of Massage offers a comprehensive message therapy diploma program.

Academic Programs

The Massage Therapy Diploma program prepares students to take the State of Hawaii Massage Therapist Licensing Exam and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam. Students are prepared to promote the benefits of natural health and wellness to their clients.

The curriculum provides innovative therapeutic techniques and philosophies. The program covers Swedish massage, Lomi Lomi principles and practice, acupressure/Shiatsu principles and practice, cranial sacral therapy, introduction to energy and business practices. The program includes an externship.

Applicants are required to sign the Attestation of High School Graduation/GED form to demonstrate the applicant has graduated from high school or has passed a GED or equivalent. In addition, Heisei International Institute of Massage has been approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
