About the School

Interactive Learning Systems offers computerized career instruction via computer based hands-on training. Associate degrees and diplomas are available. The school provides an individualized learning process. Students have opportunities to earn certifications in some of the most popular business applications. All the programs include externships.

Academic Programs

A few of the available programs at Interactive include:

• Administrative Support Systems Diploma program - Training is provided in popular programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint. The program includes Microsoft Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist components.
• Accounting and Automated Office Diploma program - Provides office automation and application skills. The program covers the basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Training is also provided in the widely used automated accounting applications Peachtree Accounting and QuickBooks Pro. The program also includes Microsoft Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist components.
• Business Information Management Diploma program - Includes training in popular software applications. The program also provides the software skills required for day-to-day usage, sharing, and management of information. The program also includes Microsoft Certification in Microsoft Office Specialist components.
• Medical Coding and Billing Diploma program - Provides the knowledge required to assign and sequence the correct diagnosis and procedure codes for healthcare services. The program covers data identification, regulatory guidelines, coding guidelines, coding and data quality.
• English as a Second Language (ESL) Diploma program - Designed for students who need English language development to use already existing vocational knowledge, skills or training. The program focuses on the development of reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar.

Interactive Learning Systems offers flexible schedules. The school provides day and evening programs and day/evening combination programs.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Applicants of ICT/ILS must provide certification of high school graduation or provide documented achievement of high school graduation equivalency or demonstrate through testing, the minimum basic skills to benefit from the training. In addition, financial aid, including federal aid, is available to eligible students.
