About Iowa Central College Online
Iowa Central College Online is the online division of Iowa Central Community College, a two-year community college founded in 1966 and located in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Designed to meet the educational needs of students in a global environment, Iowa Central College Online offers associate degree and diploma programs in the fields of business, criminal justice, health care administration, human services, and information technology. All classes are offered entirely online, with flexible classes beginning throughout the year. Iowa Central College Online is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.

Learning Options
Iowa Central College Online offers short terms of eight weeks in length to accelerate a student's learning. Students may enroll in two courses at a time and take classes throughout the year. Students are expected to actively participate in coursework, with attendance based on a student's posting to online discussion threads. Minimum participation expectations apply in order to receive course credit.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Iowa Central College Online has an open door admissions policy and accepts all students with a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Interested applicants should complete an application form and submit it to the school along with their high school transcript or GED scores, as well as any colleges previously attended. Financial aid is available for qualified applicants, such as grants, loans, scholarships, and work study.
