Learning Options

Online programs at LA College are offered throughout the year, with the academic year divided into two 18-week academic terms, with each term consisting of three six-week course sessions. Online students can set their own study schedule, but must submit at least one gradable activity each week. Associate's degrees can be completed in as little as 18 months, with bachelor's degrees in as little as 36 months. Students are part of an online community, and interact with each other and instructors through e-mail and newsgroups.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Interested applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Online students should also complete an online orientation with an Enrollment Representative, detailing information about their online programs.
