About the School
Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School (LBC) was founded in 1933 by Henry J. Heydt. Located on a 100 acre campus in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, LBC educates Christian men and women to live according to a biblical world view and to serve through professional Christian ministries. Students enrolled at LBC proclaim Christ by serving him in the Church and society.
LBC offers undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, all focused on biblical studies. LBC requires that students live spiritually according to biblical studies, with campus life reflecting this mission. Over 550 ministries recruit Lancaster graduates for work in their communities, and students have volunteered over 45,000 hours of service with 220 ministries. Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).

Learning Options
LBC currently offers 25 undergraduate and 14 graduate programs, with courses offered on campus or online. The College also offers non-traditional programs including the Degree Completion Program, for adults who want to complete their college education. In addition, the Institute of Biblical Enrichment offers non-college credit courses for students seeking enrichment opportunities. LBC's library collection is one of the larger among Bible colleges world-wide.
Faculty
LBC prides itself on hiring qualified educators. The College currently has approximately 100 faculty members, with additional adjunct and visiting professors from around the country. Students are provided individualized attention due to small class sizes in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
Student Life
Lancaster Bible College has a beautiful 100+ acre campus in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. On-campus housing is available and required for some students. LBC expects students to live according to biblical principles, an essential part of the school lifestyle. LBC has extensive rules of conduct for its students, such as attendance, drinking and cheating. LBC has over 900 students from all over the world. The College has many activities on campus, such as student government, arts, clubs, sports, and worship. LBC also offers 12 men's and women's sports teams, including basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball.
Admissions and Financial Aid
The admission standard at Lancaster Bible College reflect their Christian mission, and all applicants much be in agreement with the school's statement of faith that they accept Jesus Christ as a personal savior. All applicants must complete a 500-word autobiography explaining how the student came to know Christ as his or her savior, and why he or she wants to attend LBC. Regarding academic standards, all applicants must provide verification of high school graduation or equivalency. SAT or ACT scores are also required, with a minimum SAT score of 890 or ACT score of 18.
The Office of Financial Aid assists students with financing their education at LBC. A large number of students, approximately 85% of undergraduates, receive some sort of financial assistance. Options include Federal grants and loans, State grants, Veterans Administration educational benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation benefits, and employment opportunities on campus.
