About the School
Founded in 1919, Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC) is an affiliate of Lincoln Educational Services, which provides a variety of professional programs through its nationwide network of technical training schools. Nashville Auto-Diesel College provides comprehensive training in the fields of Automotive, Diesel, Collision/Auto Body Repair and High Performance. Hands-on training is emphasized in the programs.
NADC has been approved for veteran’s training for over 60 years. Over 25 status use NADC to train disabled students through vocational rehabilitation.
Academic Programs
Program areas at Nashille Auto-Diesel include:
- Automotive Technician – Includes an introduction to automotive technology. The curriculum also provides hands-on learning with fuel & emissions systems, transmissions and drive lines, electrical systems and other topics. Graduates may qualify for manufacturer sponsored training programs.
- Collision Repair – Provides comprehensive training in collision repair and structural materials. Classes thoroughly review auto body construction, dent repair, surface repair, welding and cutting.
- Diesel – Offers thorough training in diesel engines and repair, diesel electronics & diagnosis, truck brakes & chassis, diesel fuel systems, hydraulic applications and other subjects.
- High Performance – Provides training in car modification, dyno-testing and spot-tuning. The program also includes instruction in engine modification, suspension and exhaust systems and other related topics.

The programs are taught by certified instructors. Due to small class sizes the teachers are able to provide personalized attention.
Student Life
The student body includes over 2000 students, most of which are male. Students come from all 50 states and over 60 countries. The college provides on-campus and off-campus housing. In addition, the Career Services department assists graduates with finding employment. Students are also offered assistance with finding part-time jobs while attending the school.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Admission representatives guide the applicants through the admissions procedure. The articulation agreements Nashville Auto-Diesel College has established with some high schools allows students to receive credit for high school training and work experience. Concerning financial assistance, federal and state grants and loans and other types of financial aid are available to qualified students. The college has received approval for veteran's training and also is involved in vocational rehabilitation.
