About the School

The Natural Motion school is a part of the Empire Education's Empire Beauty group of schools. The facilities provide the Empire's Certified Learning in Cosmetology educational program. Empire Beauty Schools have been providing cosmetology programs for more than 70 years. The Empire Education Group owns over 80 schools and is one of the largest providers of cosmetology programs in the nation. Empire students have the opportunity to participate in a national competition and show which gives them the opportunity to learn the latest techniques and network with employers and industry manufacturers.

The Natural Motion school provides Cosmetology and Teacher of Cosmetology programs. The facility includes salon standard equipment. The curriculums provide training in sales strategies, salon management, marketing and communication skills. The school's Professional Student Kits include the newest versions of shears, blow-dryers, clippers, texture shears, mannequins and other items.

Academic Programs

• Cosmetology – Includes an essential foundation in the techniques of cosmetology and esthetics as well as advanced procedures. Training in nail services is also included. The curriculum combines theory with hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with actual clients. In addition, graduates have the opportunity to take state licensing exams.
• Teacher Training – Offers a thorough review of teaching methodologies and educational techniques which are utilized in managing classrooms and creating lesson plans. Enrollees are also trained to evaluate the abilities of their students.

Faculty

Student Life

Admissions and Financial Aid

In order to attend the school, applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate or pass an "Ability to Benefit" exam. Students are also required to have an interview with a career planning specialist. Concerning financial assistance, federal grants and loans, ACE Grants and school scholarships are available to eligible students.
