Northwest Health Careers, a private vocational school, offers healthcare education programs. The school was established in 1997. The institution is a holistic training facility which provides curriculum based studies for healthcare professional students. The school also provides workshops. Northwest Health Careers programs are constantly modified and revised to reflect the advancements in the healthcare industry.

Academic Programs

Shown below are some of the programs offered by Northwest Health Careers.

  • Massage Therapy programs - Provides the theory and hands-on training required for students to become licensed massage therapists. Students learn ancient and modern massage therapy techniques. In addition, students gain experience by working on clients in the student clinic. The students also take the school's National Board Review class.
  • Dental Assisting program - Includes classroom instruction and practical dental laboratory experience. Students are trained in chairside assisting, laboratory procedures, dental radiology, managing a dental practice and other topics. Students learn how to become an integral part of a dental healthcare team. Students receive on-the-job training at an off-site dental facility. Graduates are qualified to take the RDA exam administered by the American Medical Technologists.
  • Medical Assisting program - The program is taught by a licensed physician. The program includes classroom instruction, front office computer based training, laboratory practicals and training in back office duties. The students gain experience in an externship at an off-site medical facility. The graduates are eligible to take the CMA and RMA certification examinations.

Faculty
