Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology is owned by Kaplan Higher Education. Academic Programs

- Medical Assistant Diploma – Graduates of the program are prepared for entry-level jobs in the healthcare field. The curriculum provides a broad understanding of the basics of medical assisting. An externship at a medical office is part of the program.
- Pharmacy Technicians Diploma – Students are trained to transcribe doctor's orders and hospital charts, select drug products, prepare medications for dispensing and other tasks. Training is also provided in quality management procedures and security measures. The program includes an externship.
- Photographic Technology Associate Degree – Students may select a specialty in commercial photography, portrait photography or choose general applied photography. The program emphasizes hands-on learning.
- Criminal Justice Associate Degree – The program's goal is to prepare students for a variety of entry-level jobs in the field of criminal justice. Hands-on training with a firearm simulator provides students the opportunity to experience hundreds of simulated real-world law enforcement situations. Training is also provided in criminology, private security, juvenile delinquency and police operations.
- Medical Office Management Associate Degree – Provides a strong foundation in the clinical, communications and administrative aspects of medical office management. An externship at a medical office provides experience.
- Computer Support Technician Diploma – The program combines lectures, group discussions and hands-on training. The curriculum reviews computer programs, software and hardware and network systems. Students are prepared for entry-level jobs as desktop support technicians, computer lab coordinators, help desk specialists, office systems support and other jobs.

Student Life
The campus typically has less than 1000 students. The student population has more women than men. Career Services department representatives provide career planning assistance.
