About Oregon State University Online
Oregon State University (OSU) is a public, comprehensive research university located in Corvallis, Oregon. With a history of serving the people of Oregon for over 100 years, OSU offers an OSU Extended Campus, delivering online educational opportunities to people all over the world. OSU Extended Campus offers online undergraduate and graduate degrees, with all programs equivalent to traditional campus-based programs. OSU Extended Campus has students from all 50 states, as well as Canada and several foreign countries. OSU is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

Learning Options
Ecampus programs follow OSU's academic calendar, with courses offered in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. The majority of coursework is online, although some courses in the graduate programs may require on-site work or exams at the Oregon State University Campus. OSU Extended Campus utilizes Blackboard, with coursework delivered via video, interactive TV, as well as through independent study.
Faculty
OSU Extended Campus programs are taught by the same faculty that teach campus programs. The faculty at OSU have expertise in their respective fields, with many faculty recognized internationally in their fields of study.
Student Life
Online programs are flexible, allowing working adults the ability to balance school with work and family commitments. Online students have access to OSU Extended Campus Student Services, offering assistance to students throughout the program. In addition, students, have access to an extensive online library.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Depending on the program and type of student, admissions requirements vary. The admissions process begins with the completion of an application, with can be found online, as well as the submission of official transcripts and payment of the application fee. Generally, the process takes up to six weeks for an admissions decision to be made.
Financial aid is available to qualified students, with students enrolled at least half-time receiving partial aid, and full-time students eligible for full consideration. Interested applicants should complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for assistance.
