About the School

Pacific Oaks College provides bachelor's, master's and certificate programs in counseling, human development and teaching credentialing. The school educates those who seek to work with children and families.

Established more than 60 years ago by a small group of Quaker families, Pacific Oaks College is dedicated to the Quaker principles of social justice, inclusion and the valuing of every human being's worth and potential.

Academic Programs

Pacific Oaks College provides numerous comprehensive programs in counseling, human development and teaching credentialing. The programs provide the knowledge and skills required to help people from diverse backgrounds, strengths and learning styles discover and realize their unique individual potential. Each program provides an array of subjects students may select to specialize in.

The college provides teacher credential programs which cover diversity, culture and power in the classroom. The programs train students to apply effective, pioneering approaches to help students discover and realize their unique potential.

Learning Options

Pacific Oaks College utilizes the semester system. The school offers daytime, evenings and weekend classes. Students can attend the college on a full-time or part-time basis. On-campus and online programs are available.
