About Portland State University Online
Founded in 1946, Portland State University (PSU) is the only state university in Oregon. Its online distance learning programs are self-paced, allowing participants complete scheduling flexibility. The online program targets both college students and working professionals teaching them the skills necessary to succeed in the criminal justice field. The curriculum is designed so that working adults can complete this degree in as little as two years.
The University's Blackboard course management system delivers the courses online. Blackboard creates a virtual classroom by bringing course materials, assignments and discussions to the web.

Portland State is featuring its online Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice degree. Admissions and Financial Aid
Applications are accepted four times a year. Applicants must have 60 quarter credit hours of transferable college work and a 2.25 GPA or higher. PSU's Enrollment Advisors will answer questions and guide prospective students through the application process.
Students are urged to apply for financial assistance which may come in the form of grants, work-study, scholarships or loans. Applicants should start the process by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online.
