Shorter College, a private liberal arts institution, offers associate, bachelor's and master's degrees. The college has a Christian heritage. The Professional Studies programs allow working adults to complete a college degree program while they work full-time. The institution also provides online classes.

Faculty
The classes at Shorter College are taught by practitioner faculty members. The small classes allow the instructors to provide one-on-one attention.
Admissions and Financial Aid
A traditional freshman applicant to Shorter College is required to provide an official high school transcript or official GED scores. They must also provide an official SAT or ACT score report.
Prospective students for the Professional Studies undergraduate degree programs must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. They must also be employed and have at least two years of significant full-time work experience in an occupation related to the degree program.
Prospective students for the Professional Studies master's degree programs need to have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college with a GPA of 2.75 for the last 60 hours attempted. Individuals with an insufficient undergraduate GPA may submit the results from GMAT to adjust their application.
State and federal aid and grants are available to those who qualify. Shorter College provides a variety of scholarships. The school also offers the Shorter College Enhancement Grants.
