About the School

Two of the programs from Southwest Institute of Technology include an Associates of Occupational Studies Degree in Electronics Technology program and a Digital Electronics Technician diploma program. • Associates of Occupational Studies Degree in Electronics Technology program - Provides entry-level skills in the topics of analyzing and repairing of DC and AC circuits, instrumentation measurement, electronic assembly and digital electronic technician. The program also covers circuit test technician tasks, advanced microprocessor application, microcomputer application and troubleshooting. A review of robotics as associated with basic electronics is also included. A goal of the school is to provide skills generally required for career advancement.
• Digital Electronics Technician Diploma program - Provides entry-level skills in the topics of analyzing and repairing of DC and AC circuits, electronics assembly, communication electronics, instrumentation measurement, digital electronic technician and circuit test technician.
