Spa Tech Institute, founded in 1976 as Headhunter School of Hair Design, is an industry focused school offering programs in aesthetic, massage therapy, cosmetology and polarity therapy. Academic Programs

The Spa Tech Institute's programs are organized according to the following schools:

• Aesthetics School – Programs in this school teaches students to make skin healthy with natural products and various techniques. Also, offers training in evaluating and customizing treatments for each individual client. In addition, graduates have the opportunity to take professional exams. Aesthetics programs range from 3 to 12 months in duration
• Polarity Therapy School – The polarity therapy career program includes energetically based bodywork, exercise, thoughts/beliefs and nutritional knowledge. The school states that polarity therapy is regarded as transformational healing work. This program is 12 months long.
• Cosmetology School – Offers training in hair styling, facials, manicures and pedicures, makeup, waxing and skin and nail care. The program utilizes the Pivot Point educational system. An important part of programs is the student clinic, which services over fifty clients per day to give students real-world experience as part of their education. Cosmetology programs range from 10 to 18 months long.
• Massage School – Programs are based in holistic heath and wellness. Students are trained for employment as professional massage therapists. The school's massage programs range in duration from 6 to 12 months.
