Steiner School of Esthetics's career-focused programs are structured to prepare students for employment opportunities in a wide variety of places such as day spas, cruise ships, resort spas, salons, medical offices, and in their own private practices.
To set a foundation for treating their clients successfully and to communicate in appropriate terminology with other healthcare professionals, students learn anatomy and physiology of the human body through lectures by experienced educators.
In the school's clinic, under the guidance of established practitioners, students gain the hands-on, practical experience required for their careers.
Academic Programs
Steiner School of Esthetics offers two main programs: Massage Therapy and Basic Skin Care. Both programs offer courses in business development and some information about laws and regulations in the State of Virginia so graduates can set up a private practice.

Skin Care Programs

- Esthetics - Students are trained to be Estheticians -- professionals with expert knowledge of skin, skin treatments, and cosmetics who assess their clients' individual needs and help them look and feel healthy and attractive. Through instruction and real-world practice, students learn to apply makeup, give facials, skin care services.
