About the School
Success College of Applied Arts and Technology offers a variety of education programs. The programs combine theory and practical skills. Also, prospective students can sit in on classes.
Academic Programs
A collection of the programs available at Success College are shown below:
- Digital Graphic Design program - Covers the basics and advanced aspects of graphic design, web designing and development, scripting, digital illustration and videography. The program combines classroom learning with hands-on training.
- Medical Administrative Assistant program - Covers computer applications, accounting, communication skills, general office skills, keyboarding and other subjects. The program includes plenty of hands-on training.
- Ophthalmic Dispensing program - Provides the specialized knowledge and skills needed to competently and safely dispense subnormal vision devices and eyeglasses. The program covers the basic science of sight and optics. Graduates are eligible to present themselves to the Nova Scotia Board of Dispensing Opticians for examination and licensing.
- Paralegal program - Provides the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of a paralegal or a legal administrative assistant. The program covers the primary areas of law. Training is provided in title searching, legal research, office administrative duties and legal drafting.
- Business Administration program - Provides a strong foundation of business skills. The program includes plenty of practical training.
- Dental Administrative Assistant program - Covers keyboard, accounting, general office tasks and communication skills. Students are introduced to Abledent software. The program includes plenty of hands-on training.

Admissions and Financial Aid
All the programs at Success College require Grade 12 transcripts, a resume and an interview with an admissions advisor. Grade 12 equivalency and mature student status are acceptable to enroll into some of the programs. Some programs have specific prerequisites.
All of the education programs at Success College are eligible for financial aid under the Student Loan Program. Students may also be eligible for funding under Human Resource Development Centre Sponsorship.
