About the School
Founded in 1962 as Sullivan Business College, Sullivan University is now the biggest private college or university in the state of Kentucky. Across its campuses Sullivan provides a wide variety of diplomas and certificates as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees. The university also offers online degree programs. The school reports that their career-oriented curriculums are regularly updated to keep up with the demands of industries. In addition, the curriculums emphasize computer literacy.

- Early Childhood Education – Provides the skills required to operate a child care facility or to become a professional nanny. The curriculum provides a solid foundation regarding infant and child care skills and childhood development. An externship is included in the program.
- Professional Catering – Provides a thorough understanding of the catering industry, including food preparation and creating a catering business. Hands-on learning is provided on and off campus through the school's professional catering company. Externships are also available with other professional catering businesses.
- Pharmacy Technician – Structured to be completed in less than a year, this program is designed to ready students for careers as Professional Pharmacy Technicians working in areas such as retail pharmacy, hospitals, clinics, and assisted living facilities. Covers topics such as medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, record keeping, law, ethics, and medication names, actions, users, and doses.

Admissions and Financial Aid
To be accepted to Sullivan University, students are required to have a high school diploma or a GED credential. All the applicants must take the New Student Assessment test which can be taken online or at the campus.
For funding school costs, the university offers personalized financial aid plans. Grants, scholarships, loans and veteran's benefits are available to qualified students. The school also notes that there are opportunities only for military personnel, including fully paid tuition up to a defined limit.
