About Taylor University Online
Taylor University is a private, evangelical Christian university with campuses in Indiana. In addition to campus programs, Taylor University offers distance learning programs through Taylor University Online, providing a Christian education in a flexible format. Taylor University Online offers the following distance learning programs, with the mission of providing flexible programs within a Christian worldview:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies (AABS)
- Associate of Arts in Justice Administration (AAJA) - Three concentration options in Ministry, Public Policy, & Social Work
- Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts (AALA) - Five concentration options in Business, Christian Ministries, Discipleship, History, Professional Writing, and Social Science
- Certificate Programs - Seven programs offered in Biblical & Cultural Leadership, Biblical Studies, Christian Worker, Justice & Ministry, Leadership Development, Missions Studies, & Professional Writing
Learning Options
Taylor University offers open enrollment, with students able to begin a class any day of the year, after registering and paying tuition. Students have six months from the registration date to complete coursework, although degree seeking students complete work within the traditional semester timeframe, which is fifteen weeks. Most courses are through Blackboard, an online learning platform, with a few courses offered as correspondence courses. In general, students spend seven to ten hours for each class per week.

Student Life
The flexibility of the programs at Taylor University Online allows students to continue working and maintain any existing personal and professional responsibilities. Staff and faculty have frequent communication with students and are available to help them throughout the program.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Requirements vary by program, but all applicants must submit high school and college transcripts. For degree programs, students must also submit a personal recommendation completed by a mentor, pastor, or employer not related to the student. Financial aid is available for qualified applicants, and students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with their application.
