About Vista College

Vista College provides short-term training programs in the subjects of allied health, business and technical. Hands on-learning is a large part of the curriculum of each program. The school strives to offer programs that meet the demands of employers. In addition, online courses are available. The school was formerly known as Certified Careers Institute, or CCI.

Vista College Academic Programs

Vista's programs include:

• Medical Assisting – Students are trained for entry-level jobs in clinical and administrative assisting. Anatomy and physiology are also studied in the program. Essential computer skills required for the administrative aspects of the job are also included.
• Medical Office Specialist – Offers a strong foundation in administrative procedures, diagnostics and procedures and medical coding and billing.
• Dental Assisting – Offers a comprehensive review of biomedical and dental science, clinical science, dental radiology and dental office administration procedures. Students acquire laboratory, clinical and administrative experience during an externship in a dental office.
• Massage Therapy – Offers the basics of massage and skills in Swedish massage. The program also provides a solid foundation in anatomy, pathology and physiology. Graduates have the opportunity to sit for the national certification exam.
• Business Administration – Teaches the basic skills of business management, such as business planning, marketing, competitive analysis, and more. Students of this program are taught basic business fundamentals for getting started in their business careers.
• Web/Graphic Design Specialist – Provides skills in desktop publishing, Internet applications, 3-D modeling and animation.
• Network Administrator – Offers training in supporting and maintaining computer networks. Skills are also provided in repairing and troubleshooting network and non-network computers. Students are also provided the skills to acquire CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft MCSE and CCNA certifications.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent and pass a Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam. Applicants must also have an interview with an admissions representative. Regarding financial assistance, various types of financial aid are available for qualified students.
