About the School
Warner Pacific College, a Christian liberal arts college, offers traditional undergraduate degree programs, several areas of pre-professional study and an Adult Degree Program. Students in the Adult Degree Program can go to school while maintaining their careers and personal lives.
Warner Pacific College offers associate, bachelor's and master's degrees. The programs combine problem solving, group discussion, real-life experience and case analysis. Students belong to a small cohort of adult students who become education partners throughout the completion of their degree.
Academic Programs
Examples of available programs include:
- Accounting Bachelor's degree program - Blends theoretical instruction with hands-on experience. Students are prepared for a career in accounting. The program also serves as the first stage of acquiring a CPA certification. The program focuses on subjects including generally accepted accounting principles and practices, the importance of accounting controls, the function of auditing, and federal and state tax laws as they relate to individuals and organizations.
- Business Administration Bachelor's degree program - Combines hands-on experiences with theoretical instruction. The program covers numerous topics such as management theory and practice, economics for managers, marketing for managers, business and employment law, accounting for managers, operations management, quantitative analysis for business, corporate finance and other topics.
- Human Development Bachelor's degree - Reviews the history and theories of human development. The program covers numerous subjects such as learning theory, leadership and supervision, prenatal to early childhood development, adult development, cultural studies; ethics, faith, living and learning; counseling theory and other subjects. Students are prepared for opportunities in human services and church ministry.
- Management and Organizational Leadership Master's degree - Focuses on research findings, models, theories and best practices found in the interdisciplinary, organizational leadership studies field. The program provides leadership skills that are applicable to the real world, issue based experiences of the working adults in the program.
- Education Master's degree program - Designed for licensed teachers seeking courses and experience for professional growth and/or seeking credits for continued renewal of their license. The program includes research, teaching pedagogy, current topics in education and a reflection about the classroom practice.
- Teaching Master's degree program - Designed for students that hold a bachelor's degree and want to become classroom teachers. The program covers current instructional practices and provides an understanding of the complexities of the teaching profession. Graduates will be eligible for an Initial Teaching License in one or more of the following authorizations: High school, mid-level, elementary and early childhood.
- Organizational Dynamics Associate degree program - Concentrates on the liberal arts with an emphasis on rapidly changing environments of organizations. The program enhances professional development for those working in business and human services.
Learning Options
Students at Warner Pacific College are able to take one class at a time, on the same night and at the same time. The Bachelor of Business Administration program is offered in a weekend format. Classes are available during the day, night time and weekends.

Admissions and Financial Aid
Warner Pacific College enrollment advisors are available to help prospective students with the enrolling process. Prospective students for the adult learning bachelor's degree programs need to have at least 48 college level credits from an accredited college or university or PEP, CLEP and ACE or other standardized evaluations. They also need to have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher on prior college level completed coursework and two years of full-time work experience.
Prospective students for the adult learning master's degree programs need to have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Additional requirements vary by the program.
Prospective students for the Organizational Dynamics Associate degree program need to have a high school diploma or a GED certificate and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher on prior college course work, however previous college experience is not required. They also need at least one year of full-time work experience.
Federal aid, Oregon Opportunity Grants and other types of financial aid are available for eligible students.
