About the School
WyoTech is part of the Corinthian Colleges Inc. The campuses offer diplomas and associate degrees in automotive, motorcycle repair, collision & refinishing, diesel, marine, HVAC, plumbing and electrician services.
WyoTech upgrades programs based on industry-based advisory committees and skills identified by employers. The campuses emphasize real-world training, professionalism and business skills. According to WyoTech, their programs meet industry standards and specifications. Each WyoTech campus includes classrooms, work areas and laboratory facilities. Programs offered may vary by location.
Academic Programs
- Automotive Technology - The program focuses on diagnosing engine problems and repair. Training is provided for engine rebuilding, drivetrain systems, engine maintenance and working on chassis.
- Collision Refinishing - Offers training in welding and repairing and refinishing vehicles. Students learn metal cutting, paint chemistry, cosmetic repair, mapping and color plotting.
- Diesel Technology - Students learn to work with diesel engines in big trucks, tractors, transport refrigeration systems, bulldozers and other equipment.
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning - Provides training in HVAC service repair. Students are taught basic electricity and electrical theory, basic refrigeration theory and other topics.
- Marine Technology - Trains students to work with propulsion systems, stern drive systems and inboard and outboard marine engines.
- Motorcycle Technology - Focuses on diagnosing and repairing motorcycle engines. Training is provided to optimize motorcycle engines for peak performance. Students learn to work on two and four stroke engines.
- Plumbing - The program utilizes the latest technology. Students are taught about uniform plumbing codes, blueprint reading, plumbing pipe systems and heating systems.
- Electrical Program - Students are prepared for entry-level jobs as repair technicians and electrician jobs in commercial, residential, programming, preventive maintenance, and installation services.

Student Life
The vast majority of students are in-state residents. Most of the students are seeking training in a short period of time. Placement services are provided.
Admissions and Financial Aid
Pell Grants and other types of federal financial aid are available for qualified students. Various grants and scholarships as well as loans and work/study programs are provided. WyoTech personnel assist applicants with the enrollment procedure. Students have to sign a code of conduct in order to be admitted.
