AIB College of Business is a nonprofit, independent, coeducational college dedicated to business education. It is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Everett O. Fenton and Ray Hansen founded the school in 1921 as the American Institute of Business. The college assumed its present name in 2001.
AIB College of Business occupies a 20-acre campus. It offers more than 20 programs leading to associate of applied science degrees. Bachelor of science degrees are also available in business administration, accounting, steno reporting and court reporting. All associate degrees can be pursued online as well. The college also offers an associate degree program in Voice Captioning.
AIB houses many professional and social student organizations, including Greek societies like the Alpha Iota International Honorary Business Sorority, and Phi Theta Kappa. The college is a member of National Junior College Athletic Association, and its athletic teams are nicknamed the Eagles.
