Located in Philippi, West Virginia, Alderson-Broaddus College was established in 1932. It was formed by the merger of two Baptist Institutions namely, Alderson Academy (1901) and Broaddus College (1871). This institution is also known as A-B. The college campus spreads out on 170 acres of land. A-B is known for its honors and major programs in subjects including health sciences, education, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.
Students can participate in the various club and organization activities. Some of the clubs at Alderson-Broaddus College are Association of Women Students, Chi Sigma Nu, Computer Club, Forensics Team, Music Ensembles, Sigma Alpha Iota, Student Education Association, The Art Guild and Outdoor Club.
