Overview

Alvin Community College, also referred to as ACC, is a two-year college located in Alvin, Texas. ACC was established in 1948 and was approved by the qualified voters of the Alvin Independent School District. It enrolls more than 4,000 students annually. The college offers its students a wide range of career programs in subject areas like broadcast communications, business administration, general liberal arts and management.

The college offers its students many organizations and clubs which include a Soccer Club, Baptist Student Ministries, the Catholic Newman Association, the Church of Christ Fellowship and a Writers Club. The name of the sports team is Dolphins and the games played by the students include baseball and softball.
